Aloha Friends! This is my 6th year participating in the Hawaii Island Humane Society Dog Walk that is taking place on October 28th at the King Kamehameha Marriott Courtyard in Kailua-Kona. I have raised over $15,000 the previous 5 years and have a personal goal this year of $3,000!! (I lowered the original amount due to the recent events affecting our friends on the mainland, and I hope that you all are donating to groups that are helping those impacted by the hurricanes and fires.) We hope that you will join us by making a donation that will help HIHS continue to provide love, hope, and care to Hawai'i Island's animals in need. As a local, independent non-profit, HIHS is not affiliated with or funded by any mainland organizations.
