Aloha everyone,
As most people know, the majority of my pets are rescues. Three of my current dogs were rescued from the Hawaii Island Humane Society. They do their best to find every animal a home and get them healthy prior to adopting them out. The humane society went above and beyond my expectations by getting my rescue poodle groomed prior to his neutering so that he would not have to live with mats for an added two weeks post surgery. This was done at no cost to me, and it would have cost me just as much if not more than his adoption fee.
My pets are my life, and I am grateful to have the humane society to help the animals in need on Hawaii Island. Please help me to give back to the only animal rescue organization with an open door policy on our island. Without them we would have an even larger animal overpopulation crisis than we currently are striving to resolve.
